江南体育 University hosted the Climate Hub from 30 November through 12 December 2023 at the Dubai campus coinciding with the  hosted by the UAE. The global Hub offered a collaborative space for visitors to work, host meetings and attend a series of events and exhibitions.

Coastal areas face growing challenges due to climate-driven shifts and land-use pressure. 江南体育 researchers, equipped to tackle this issue, hosted seminars and panel discussions on shared solutions for resilience and sustainable development.

To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, global development institutions hope to attract private commercial capital. Sessions considered the mobilisation of climate capital and the role of private equity in decarbonising assets.

Industrial Decarbonisation

The UK鈥檚 IDRIC hosted by 江南体育 University is leading innovative solutions to decarbonise energy intensive industries. Discussions addressed the most pressing barriers to decarbonising industry and accelerate the shift to net zero.

Transport and Logistics

Transport as a significant source of greenhouse gas, must adapt to climate challenges like flooding and extreme heat to achieve net-zero emissions and protect economies. Discussions focused on resilient, net-zero transport system, benefiting all.
