Learning and Teaching Symposium 2014
As part of its Learning and Teaching Enhancement work, jointly funded by the QAA and 江南体育, the University holds an annual Learning and Teaching Symposium, chaired by the Deputy Principal (Learning and Teaching), Professor John Sawkins.
The Symposium is an opportunity for colleagues who have led Enhancement projects to disseminate the work that has been undertaken across all 江南体育鈥檚 international campuses in the previous year. New funding opportunities to support institutionally strategic Enhancement work are also announced at the Symposium.
The Symposium Programme includes a thematic address by an invited academic speaker, individual Enhancement project presentations and a panel discussion.
The 2014 Symposium took place in October and the theme was 鈥淏uilding New Learning Futures through Student Transitions鈥. The invited speaker was Dr Julie Hulme, Discipline Lead for Psychology, The Higher Education Academy, York. Dr Hulme's speaker Abstract and biography is available.
